Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. What happens to unsellable apparel and merchandise?
Unsellable apparel is securely shredded and diverted into sustainable outlets such as insulation, pet beds, or engineered fuel. We ensure items cannot re-enter secondary markets, protecting your brand and the environment.

  2. Can shredded apparel be recycled or upcycled into new products?
Yes. Depending on the fiber type, shredded apparel can be repurposed into insulation, filler, or other industrial applications. Cotton and polyester blends, for example, can often be upcycled rather than discarded.

  3. How do you prevent branded or defective items from being resold?
We use certified destruction methods that make products completely unusable. Each project comes with a Certificate of Destruction that documents the process and ensures your products don’t resurface in unauthorized markets.

  4. Why is apparel destruction better than landfill disposal?
Landfilling textiles creates long-term environmental harm and releases methane as fibers decompose. By using sustainable destruction and recycling pathways, we divert textiles from landfill and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
